Jewelry with opals can be cleaned using the Mayflower polishing cloths following these instructions:Clean the metal on the piece avoiding the opals. Opals are not going to be damaged if you just casually touch them while cleaning the metal part of the piece. What is not recommended is to rub the opal with the white cloth.
